Help required what is correct when police get translater in who pays ,friends of mine went to police to sort something out and they had a translater there when they got there but didnt pay anything ,my daughter in law went the other day to sort out a break in police got translater in and he asked them for payment ,so who has to pay neither of them asked for translater .

if a translator is requested normally the people how needed it pays for it then claims it back on the insurance making sure they get a police report when finished.If the police have one there it should be part of the service.
