Where are these places please?
« on: June 19, 2013, 13:10:21 PM »
I'm property hunting around Fethiye and when I ask Agents for a better idea of the location, 2 landmarks are regularly mentioned but I still don't know exactly where they are.

One is Fethiye Citroen Servis on Baris Manco Blvd (that's a long road....) and the other is the Old People's Home, which I've got in my head is towards Ciftlik, but I'm proabably way off the mark!

I've got my head around the Dolphin Roundabout which is no longer a roundabout and with no dolphins but help with Sokak numbers to pinpoint the above 2 places would be brilliant. Thank you!

Standing at Dolphin Roundabout, back to sea

1. You are at one end of the road, the Citroen dealer is at the opposite end.

2. The old people's home is around 10 o'clock direction from you, at the far edge of the "built up" area we all know (incorrectly) as Calis  :)

I'll do a map later if I have time.

Cheers Keith - I'll forgive the blatant sexism and let you know I have both a Blue Peter Badge and a Girl Guide Sew On Patch in map reading. And it's a total lie that I once installed the sat nav upside down. A lie.

(The map is ace by the way - thank you!)

Ten years later I now know where the old people's home and the Citroen garage are ( is there a difference?)

 ;)

One is a place where people who have nothing left to live for go, the other is an old people's home.
