Heading down from Ovacik, at the bottom of the hill where the dolmus goes left at the traffic lights go straight on.
Patlangic mosque is on your right after about half a mile and the market is on your left (just after crossing the river)

Sounds great! The husband finds the hassle bit hard to handle.

Thanks everyone.  :D

Did you find directions to the museum in Kargi?  Pretty much wherever you're staying I'd recommend going by car!  Turn off the D400 onto the road that goes into Ciftlik village centre.  Take the turning opposite the Melissa or any of the next three or four turnings on the right.  Keep going uphill until you reach the canal.  Turn left and follow the canal for probably about 10 minutes.  You'll know when you're there.  There's a fabulous butchers up there too.  Enjoy!

If we dont hire a car, then we'll taxi it there by the sound of it. Cheers SuzzPuss!

I keep sending my son loads of recommendations for when he's here in Calis the week before me and the husband. He keeps saying 'Yeh, Mum looks great but we're only there for a week!'  :D
