The AKP government will block all access to Facebook from noon tomorrow as part of a crackdown on social media.

...is just one of the ridiculous rumours going round Facebook today. I genuinely didn't realise how easily fooled and convinced so many people are.

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdağ told press on Thursday that the government will not ban social media websites but will bring in new regulations to prevent the creation of fake accounts on such sites.

Now I would be interested in how the AKP can stop people having multiple/fake accounts in an American company like Face Book...Cannot see FB letting anyone control them!
