Been to Rhodes a few times from Fethiye.  They used to offer a reduced price for people wanting to renew their visa's but that has all changed now but I think it's worth going into the booking office and asking them what they can offer.  The last time I went (18 months ago) we went on the 'flying dolphin'.  What an experience, NOT good.  We were and hour and a half late in arriving in Rhodes and on the return, the vessel, if it can be called that was 2 hours late into Rhodes port.  It had to refuel and we were all told that we would have to walk round to the back of the port.  The sea was rough and the waves were coming over the 'vessel' and it was dark.  We arrived into Fethiye just before 10pm - terrible.  If you go on the Aegean Princess then, it's a much better experience and more comfortable.  A day in Rhodes isn't enough, you need a couple of days at least.  Don't forget they have Lidl's over there so you can get some nice goodies to take back to Fethiye.

I used booking .com when we stayed in Rhodes for a week last year. Lots to choose from and we stayed at Atlantis city Hotel In Rhodes town . Good location short walk to everything. We also booked with Yesil Dylan for the ferry tickets. Please be aware that they can cancel a crossing if not enough people on it ,we had an extra day added to our hotel costs.. So check before going back to the port when returning to Fethiye.

Stargazer would recommend Sephora, this is an American make up and fragrance shop that sell lovely products. They have a 24 hour shop in Time Square (which was featured in a episode of Sex and the City).  i just love this shop it's own brand make up is lovely.  Find the shop in the new town it is painted in the colours of all the shops in this chain, black and white. It's near Marks and Spencer's and BHS.  I wish they had some branches in the U.K. :(

Was he the one who thought through the island was a quicker looking route than around it a few years back? :D
