We have just watched a documentary on TV tonight about The Piper Alpha oil platform which blew up 25 years ago this year with the loss of 167 lives. It was absolutely gut wrenching to watch the survivors tell their story. The men on there hadn't spoken about it in public for all this time and it was so emotional for them even after all these years... God bless all those who died...
