Charity shop - donations welcome please
« on: July 15, 2013, 10:06:12 AM »
Due to the popularity of our charity shop at the Eyna Restaurant on Calis promenade we are now running low on summer clothing, books and bric a brac.

If you are coming out to your villa or apartment over the next few weeks and intend having a sort out whilst you are here, please can you think of us whilst doing so.

The 3C's always welcomes donations for the shop, no matter how small or whatever the season clothes (we are able to store these clothes until the appropriate season). Donations  can be dropped off at the shop which is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm or at Eyna restaurant when the shop is closed (there is convenient parking only a few meters away in the Çalış Car Boot Car Park).  Alternatively the charity can collect donations if required. Please ring the charity number 0536 3739520 or pm me to arrange for collections.  Also if you are in the Ovacik, Hisaronu area, Sarah at the Coffee Pot has kindly agreed to act as a drop off point for 3C's donations.

All of the money raised by our charity goes to helping disadvantaged children in the local Fethiye area and although we will be continuing to help buy equipment and essential items for the poorer schools in the area, we hope in this coming year to help more individual youngsters so that we can really make a difference to their lives.

Thank you on behalf of the 3C's

Chrissie

Great day and team spirit in the shop today.  Had my 4wks holiday, unpaid of course ;D.  The shop looks better than ever and there are some great bargains to be had, very good high factor sun screen 4TL !!!, bric a brac, still plenty of 1TL sale items in baskets up top and for the more discerning a great selection of mens and ladies clothing in all of the colours and plenty for the well rounded men and ladies.  A Yorkshire Tea for mid morning break (Yes Erhan does have this) and was lovely to catch up with the girls and of course Kevin  ;)

Hi Chrissie, we're back out in a couple of weeks, and I have loads of books and clothes/bags etc to get rid of.  Will pop into the shop to see you when I've had my sort out, and perhaps we can arrange for Pete to collect again from Gunlukbasi.  See you soon x

Think I may some Sophie Kinsella , books, but it's not that one.  I have a few of her hard copy books, but I get them on my kindle now.   We will take some books down to the shop in September, also having a wardrobe clear out as need space for the new stuff I am taking over.  See you in September.
