Ways to make money in Calis

A system where someone says they will come and do a job, and actually turn up.

This, in my experience, is becoming an increasingly tiresome issue here in the UK too  :(

Is there anywhere in Calis where you can have clothes made to measure? A dressmaker?
the dressmaker on the same road as Aquapark, who as moved a few time over the last 10 or so years, made my wedding dress, she is excellent.

Thank you for the information regarding dressmakers, ladies. I am definitely going to take advantage of their services.

A dressmaker in the UK is indeed a rare species!

Open a unique restaurant in Calis, not Italian, Chinese, Turkish or Indian.  Just one that only served Steak.
It would be packed every night and all the reviews would say...It was the best steak I every ate.  ;D  :)

Yes, a Steak House Jacqui like they have a lot of in the Canary Isles, serving luscious big juicy steaks, jacket potatoes and alioli, I'm drooling now!

Think you are right Lottie.  It would be a gold mine.  Just read any report on CBF for a restaurant be it Chinese, Italian or whatever.  It always finishes with "The steak was the best ever"   It seems that Steak is what everyone wants to eat in Calis no matter what restaurant they visit.

From stoop today on the King's Garden thread - Prices are very good for the quality of food they serve. I think we paid about £10 for a fillet steak and it was excellent. Best steak I've had in Turkey for ages. Our friends went back after we had gone home and said they were just as good second time.

 ;D

I believe this is my contribution

We had our first ever visit to Shaka during our recent visit and were very impressed.

<Blah blah Blah>

I have had two sensational fillet steaks in all my years in the area and this was one of them.

So thats a great idea then! It does seem to be mainly how people rate a restaurant, nice one Jacqui! Personally though, I rarely order steak, I'm too fussy how I like it! If its not right its too expensive and I think was spoiled in the Canary Isles.

I agree Lotty.  Always overcooked for my taste.  Actually I find a lot of places overcook the fish too.  Shame.

Loving Steve's dessert restaurant!  I'm not a great dessert fan but I'd go there, if only for the name.   ;D

Well you can Suzz! Afraid Steve was pipped to the post, there's one of those ' Just Desserts' in Hitchen UK. It is still a great idea though and ideal in a hot country.
