I use A2B and have never had any problems.  I see that they now offer an 'express' transfer for just a couple of pounds more that the normal shared transfer, which I have opted for this time round.  I use them in Izmir, Kusadasi and also in Corfu when I go there.

I am travelling in January from Dalaman. I need to be at the airport for 6am, does anyone know of any shuttle transfers available then? I was told Pegasus, but having just spoken with them, they said they have no transfers for that time.

A warning to all travellers thinking about using RAIN TRANSFER (RT) to get them to/from Dalaman airport:  I recently set out for a holiday to Peru and it took RT over an hour to tell me that they were NOT going to come to pick me up! Having been reassured that I would be reimbursed for the cost, I ordered a taxi and arrived at Dalaman with just minutes to spare after getting through security – had I missed that flight my whole trip would have been aborted as I would have not have caught my connecting flights to Peru.

On my return to Turkey I contacted RT but they made no apology or any offer of compensation for the taxi (120TL) - or even an offer to refund the fare that I had paid RT to take me to the airport! [Not to mention the stress that I went through not knowing whether I would get to Dalaman in time].

While looking for a contact number for RT’s head office on their website I noted that they claimed to be “part of Sun N Sea UK Ltd (UK)” – but when I contacted this company (who were very helpful and sympathetic to my problem) they advised me that they have no direct connection with RT, and having received another similar complaint to mine they have now contacted RT to request that they remove the misleading claim from their website.

As far as I am concerned RT have no place in the competitive market of airport transfers (there are many other choices including Resort Hoppa, A2B, Shuttle Direct, etc.) - and having experienced their total lack of customer care I would recommend that NOBODY uses Rain Transfer in the future – unless you want to risk missing your flight due to their incompetence!!

Unfortunately the problem with people having their bank cards hacked after booking with A2B, must have had a bad effect on them.  I always used them and was satisfied with their service THEN I related my bank card having been hacked to the time when I booked my A2B transfer. NOT happy.  The in September when I was in Kusadasi, my A2B transfer was subcontracted to another company who took me to Bodrum Airport instead of Izmir. I missed my flight and this caused me many problems.  To their credit, A2B did pay for another flight, a 4 night stay in a hotel and my telephone calls.  I am undecided about which transfer company to use when I return to Calis.  I shall watch the forum and make my decision based on feedback from other forum members.

I forgot to mention in my earlier post that when I returned to Dalaman I had to wait over 45 minutes because the driver was waiting at the WRONG TERMINAL with ten tourists en route to Hisaronu! Probably not the driver's fault - the office knew my flight number and should have advised the driver accordingly. I had already tried ringing Rain Transfer's "24/7" Emergency mobile number but simply got a “leave a message” response – I have still not received replies to my two messages!

Used Rain Trans once and was left standing at DLM a/p needless to say it was the first and last time.
A2B excellent service but along with others had my card compromised.
Will use a local agent who accepts cash on arrival for my next visit.

A transfer company that "accepts cash on arrival" is the ideal solution (Rain transfer used to do that until a few years ago) - no credit cards involved, no-show/no-pay. If there are still such transfer companies around I, and I'm sure many others, would appreciate the details being posted on the site!

Simon - thanks for the link to FAT. Looking at their prices I think that this would be fine for 3 or more people travelling together, but at £35 each way it works out around the same as the taxi fare of 120TL that I paid (but I had no time to haggle or shop around - all I wanted to do at that time was to get to Dalaman in time for my flight!)

In fact while I was waiting for the RT driver to find his way to the domestic terminal I noticed a sign showing taxi fares of only 90TL (approx. £27.50 at today's exchange rate) to Calis.
