Many years ago at the airport I asked someone if they had enjoyed there holiday and the reply was no it was c##p you couldn't get an English breakfast anywhere and the hotels wanted to charge extra for one. Some people would be better of at blackpool

Overheard on the transfer bus from Dalaman many years ago ' what part of the island are you staying? '

I remember my Mum despairing over a work colleague. This woman had just returned from her dream honeymoon in Kenya - luxury safari, hot air balloon ride over the plains and a hotel suite overlooking the watering hole - my Mum (a huge Africophile) couldn't wait to hear about the experience excitedly asking:

"So what did you think about Kenya then?"

"Oh it was okay, but if I'm honest, there were too many black people".
