« on: August 03, 2013, 10:16:09 AM »
The Thomson Celebration leaves Marmaris 28th October 2013 14 nights full board we have been on this ship 3 times the food and entertainment is just as good as the P and O cruises we have been on, although it is not as big and grand a ship.
Calls at Aghios Nikolaos , Athens , Ship At Sea , Naples , Rome , Ajaccio , Barcelona , Cartagena , Motril , Cadiz , Lisbon , Ship At Sea , Ship At Sea , docks in Portsmouth on 11th Nov.
The cost for cruise only (no flight to Dalaman) £600 you can buy a full drinks package or beer and wine packages on board.
Great value for money.
Mark.

Wow! That is good value, though I've always a bit nervous of a cruise! My daughter and husband have been on a few and they really enjoyed them. Might have to give it a go one day.

An excellent and probably cheapest way to get back to UK at the end of October - just wish I had the leave.....

What a bargain and for 14nights!! We too used to love cruising but since having bought in Fethiye got out of the habit!
Just a shame Thomsons are no longer calling in on Fethiye, which they did try, I think it was last year we saw their ship.

The bay of biscay section can be a very rough crossing, especially at this time of year when storms come through.

We crossed the Bay of Biscay on a winter cruise a few years ago, and out of several thousand passengers, only 17 people attended the Captain's cocktail party.  I have no problems with sea sickness, and it was supposed to be 1 welcome glass of champagne for everyone.  Needless to say myself and at least 14 others slept very soundly that night, as the champagne was set out on tables when we arrived!!!

Talking of bargain holidays, these seem way cheaper than the flights

One year we backpacked around the Greek islands a return flight was about £200 per person. We found a B&B package for less than half the price. We just used the flight out and back. We informed the rep on arrival at Kos what we were doing and they were happy as it was two less to look out for.

There are a good many bargains out there if you look.
