Sandy or pebbles?!
« on: August 03, 2013, 14:11:16 PM »
Hi everyone,

could anyone clarify if Calis beach is sandy or pebbles please?   :)  I thought it was sand, but I've just read somewhere that it isn't!

Contemplating footwear  :D

Thanks   :)

The sand is very gritty and there are large areas that are small pebbles

It is quite gritty and lots of small pebbles, but mainly consists of fag ends, dog poo, and empty effes cans,   ;) :(

If you go to either end of the beach it's more sandy and looked after.  One end is the Sat Restaurant where you will have to buy drinks etc., to use the beach.   The other end is Guven's and the Surf Cafe. These are the most popular places for members here.  Nice sand and looked after, again you will be expected to buy drinks.  The Surf Cafe end is where Daniel Craig filmed Skyfall.

And just further on from Surf Cafe is Bakrac Beach Park which IMO is nicest of all and is spotlessly clean

you know as well as I do Jacqui  satt great, but priced their selves out and guvens, always been good, but know as well as I do who is on holiday is going to go to these places, they hit the prom and they don't get past bela mamas or nil bar. or even georges, who I do agree with you has always been good.
