I know a lot of people who go down to Guvens and the Surf Cafe.  I also know from T.A. that people are coming to see where Daniel Craig filmed.  A lot of the film landed on the cutting room floor after two weeks of filming, but Calis is still in the Film and Daniel has been back to Turkey for a holiday.  So lets not discourage new visitors.
It's good we have new tourists to the area.  Perhaps you have had enough of living in Calis Des, but we love coming for holidays as lots of others on the Forum do.   So, I wish you good luck when you move and please keep in touch.  Love seeing your lovely Grandchildren on Facebook.

We stayed in koca calis and walked the prom every night.  We had a lovely meal and drink at guvens, such lovely people. We didnt use the beach, but this part of the beach looked lovely  :)

Thank you everyone  ;D

Personally I would spend my entire holiday waiting to see if Daniel Craig turned up   ;)  but I don't think my husband would!

I think we will just play it by ear, the tips are very helpful thank you, though everyone has different likes and dislikes, so we will see what we find!

Only 2 more sleeps!!!!  ;D

Happy Sunday to all x

Sandy or pebbly, you'd want to keep some shoes on anyway due to the sand being so hot! Also recommended that if you do go for a dip in the sea, don't forget to put your beach shoes close to the edge so you don't burn on your way back to the sun lounger   :)

Des, during my time in Calis I never saw any dog poo or Efes cans on the beach while walking along or if I was staying on the beach. Not sure which end you've seen this but it looked like there was some efforts going to keep the beach clean where we usually frequented ourselves (down near the Cinar bar)

Sam and Mark, the two sleeps will try to drag just to tease you! Hope you have a wonderful time   :)

It is quite gritty and lots of small pebbles, but mainly consists of fag ends, dog poo, and empty effes cans,    ;) :(

Oh come on its not that bad! I guess a few areas could be better but its one big beach!
