Burglary
« on: August 05, 2013, 18:28:51 PM »
We are in the UK and our Turkish friend has phoned us to say that our house in Ovacik has been burgled.

Our Turkish friend said he reported it to the Jandarma 2 days ago and has heard nothing back.

I have rung the Jandarma on 6170055 and they dont speak English.

Im really upset about this.

I'll move this to the Ovacik section, it may be better in there.

Must be horrible to learn of this when you are in the UK. Is there a Turkish friend you could ask to speak to them on your behalf?

I could recommend an official translator who works with the police all the time?  Just pm me and I will give you his details.

Thank you kindly.

But we dont know very much about what has happened, so we cant report what we dont know.

We have a flight booked in just over a week. So we will have to wait until then.

Aww. This is horrible. I do hope they haven't taken too much. You must be very frustrated and upset.
I hope you are able to sort everything out.
Good luck.
