You say I owe you £ 9.23 – fair enough. But you will not, repeat not, increase my monthly payment by £ 2.00.

If my consumption is the same and even allowing for a 10% increase in your already extortionate prices, at the end of the next 12 month period, I will owe you £ 19.38 and yet you will have pilfered £ 24.00 from my account.

That’s a difference of £ 4.62 and means that if your other customers were in a similar position you will have collected £ 44,323,200 more than you should have.

Just had my water bill, I'm £86.00 in credit but my monthly direct debit is only £1 per month less, so what happens to my £86.00, do I get a refund... NO

H, I had the same with Scottish power. I ALWAYS get a 3 figure  refund ranging From £126- £ 167. A couple of weeks ago, they informed me I'd be sent out a cheque for £138odds this time , but unfortunately my monthly payments were rising by £17 per month.
I phoned them, argued that I was not willing to pay ant  extra as I was always in credit. Her response was " Oh this is a computer generated rise, gauged on the bad winter we've had" . My 4rse!!!
I told them if they insisted on putting it up, I'd change my supplier. Response was_"Oh alright madam, we'll just leave as it is currently"
Computer says no!!!!!

Quite right toky but I have to say that if I was "overpaying" by £ 10 a month I'd be reducing my direct debit.
