I am absolutely furious. My mum paid £44 to send me an important letter from the UK Parcel Force Global Priority which they said would take 3 days to arrive. I expected five.

It took 3 days to get to the International hub to be sent abroad and one full week later it has still not even arrived in Turkey. I have been to the PTT where they kindly checked their internal system for me. They have also said that it will take a further three days from Istanbul to arrive in Fethiye.

Next time it will be sent UPS or DHL cheaper and guaranteed fast delivery.

Thanks Nichola.  I use Parcelforce a lot in UK so I might well have considered it.  I won't now.  Hope you get your letter.   :(

The parcel force service in the ok is fine. It's just annoying that if the letter had been sent from Turkey to the UK using just a normal signed for service it would have taken 7 days and cost me about 5tl.

I am sure it will arrive eventually Sue   :)

We sent 3 boxes of personal possessions with them when we moved here last year and it took four months to get to Izmir and then we had to go to the customs there and pay for it all to be released.
Two days car hire and an overnight in hotel + 230tl to get them back , we were and still not impressed with what they call service.
Customer service over the phone ,email and letter ?
Don't get me started lol

Good luck

Alan.

A lot of activity has taken place on the tracking information about my letter since I wrote to them yesterday.

Most notably that it took 5 whole days from leaving the international hub for export to arrive by flight in Turkey: amazing!

I am still waiting for a reply to my email/letter "normally" sent within 12 hours of receipt.
