Around the world in 80 sunsets

This thread was prompted by Lorraine's excellent post of a sunset in the French Alps.

This one was at Castle Stuart just around the coast from us. (And yes the water is still flowing uphill   )

To jump start your trip around the world H here is a strange mauve sky in Akaroa, South Island, New Zealand.

I've pinched these photos from someone else, and not a particularly exotic location, but these were taken at the John Smith Stadium in Huddersfield the night my rugby league team won the League Leaders Shield in September. Our colours are claret and gold so it seemed fitting that we got a claret and gold sky to celebrate!     The sky that night was amazing and to be honest the photos don't do the colours justice.
