calis fair
« on: December 08, 2013, 17:17:44 PM »
Just to say what a great turnout today. Many more stalls than last year. Hope all stall owners had a positive and prosperous day . Was talking to one of the organisers who was telling me about the gruelling effort put into making this a great day. Well done to everyone involved. Not only for locals but for anyone thinking of a holiday destination, look no further.

Super photos, Ronnie!

And well done everyone who organised the event - it certainly looks as though everyone enjoyed it - what a turn out!

200 stalls all under cover - an amazing achievement. They must all be knackered.

PS Doesn't that sky look lovely  :)

Over 200 stalls? Wow! And Ronnie said people were travelling into Calis from well outside the area for the fair. Now that's pretty special.

Yes Aisha, i met people who came were travelling hours just to be there today and i am sure not disappointed at all. The day could not have gone better and Mercury if you had something to do with today you deserve a pat on the back. Will need to the way things are going use the beach next year!

And all this from nothing - it was only a few years ago that nothing like this existed. Now it is a major, major event in the Calis calendar. The unpaid, often unnoticed efforts of those who make this happen doesn't get anything like the appreciation it deserves.

An amazing turn out, especially taking into consideration the weather that many of the organisers had to contend with yesterday. well done to you all.
