A Meeting of CBF Chums, Glasgow 2013
« on: December 16, 2013, 20:29:34 PM »
A magnificent night at the highly recommended Anatolia Chargrill Restaurant in central Glasgow. We have met so many people who became great friends through CBF and Calis, and here are just a few:

Left to Right: Silly Billy, Me (I was pushing my belly out as a joke), Brenda (Mrs Highlander), Joanna (Anne & Billy Jr.) Anne, Mrs Scunner, Toky, Highlander, Robin (Mr Toky).

It was so good we all agreed to make it a tradition. As for the next one, you're all invited - seriously :D

I think we are up for that tradition, as long as we do not have to have the 15th floor and Bottles of Raki are not allowed in the reception area.

It was indeed a very special evening and one which Brenda and I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed.

There is of course no receipt for such an evening but the list of ingredients would surely include good food, great location(s) and, the most important ingredient of all, splendid people. Not an ego or pretention in sight. Just genuine, good folks totally comfortable in each others’ company.

Add a sprinkling of Christmas cheer and the odd liquid refreshment and you end up with as near to a perfect evening as you are likely to get.

For loz and all other members who are interested here is a link to the venue for the 2014 event. It's well worth a look, honest.

Scunner how did you get my M&S polo shirt to fit as I would have thought it would have been a bit small for you   ;)

Yes, Puma that is indeed Efes.
I'll echo the sentiments of the boss man and Mr H.  A fabulous, fabulous night

Tulloch Castle may well be something special now, but when I was attending Dingwall Academy in the early sixties, it was the pits.  I know because I had to live there.
