Wonderful Moon

I know its cold but just go out to look at the moon right now as there is a fantastic ring round it .Really beautiful .It is 10.30 as I am writing this so not sure how long it will last but so worth looking at .

Yes I noticed about 9pm when walking the dog...it's lovely. Apparently its a lunar halo and is there due to cirrus clouds floating thousands of feet above our heads!

I tried to photograph it but the ring was so big and the outcome just didn't do it justice.

Yes I tried too to take a picture but the ring is too big . It is so fantastic to see so I hope someone with a posh camera can manage to take a picture.

I took a few photo's as well but they didn't come out too well, strangely enough even though I went right down the garden I couldn't get far enough away to get it in the picture very well!
