Booked next years holiday!

Well, booked a week at Calis Beach for end of May next year, hope the weather will be good, although anything over 20degrees is a heat wave to us lol. Any tips on best places to go, things to see from regular visitors would be really appreciated as it will be our first time there.

End of may is a great time to go

End of May a great time to go.  That's when we're there!     

We're out next year 13th to 27th May and can't wait.  This year, after a couple of days of
thunderstorms, the weather was  exceptionally hot and sunny for that time of year.  Hoping for more of the same, although it's always wise to take a jumper or something for the evenings as they can still get quite cool.  More comfortable for sleeping though.

We are out for last week of May, 1st week of June, weather always been good but not ridiculously hot, cant wait to be back in Calis again for the 5th time in 4 years.

I love May, everything is fresh and bright, all the flowers and plants are opening up and the rains have cleaned the dust and mud away. The weather for us is perfect too, not too hot -  though it can soar occasionally. Sleeping at night is comfortable and not sticky or sweaty. It's interesting to see new and old restaurants where the staff are eager for the new season, new business and are always so welcoming. Perfect!

We have booked ours for May as well although we are doing a road trip from Turkey through Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia, Slovinia, Austria, Croatia, Germany, France, staying 4 nights in England then back to Turkey via France, Switzerland, Italy & Greece.

This is the fifth time we have driven the round trip either UK - Turkey or Turkey - UK & each time we try to alter the route so that we go through and get to see different countries and/or cities which are then added to the list of places we have been fortunate enough to visit and broaden our knowledge of different cultures as well as viewing the scenery & architecture.

Roll on May 2014.
