Sad but, I think, inevitable.

Yes Its a murder investigation now. There will be a lot more shocking news to come as to how it happened.

And, no doubt, Social Services will be blamed again.

No it is NOT a murder investigation now, it is being treated as a suspicious death, there has been absolutely NO mention of the "M" word from the Police, or any other official body.

I was just quoting what was said on the BBC news this mornng. That it was being treated as a murder
investigation. I am not sure what the Social Services has to do with this terrible news to be honest.

Well, as is the case with a lot of child deaths, it'll be Social Services who will be blamed for not noticing that there was a possibility that the mother wasn't coping and was likely to do something untoward.

Think you will find the S.S. have been involved in the past.
My daughter's Mum in Law, lives in Kirkcaldy and her best friend is neighbours with the Auntie behind whose home the body was found.  They are all so sad and in so much shock.  The  Mum in Law was in her friend's house the day before the little boy was found and is feeling really upset about this poor child.

The mother has now been arrested not with murder though. It sounds that there may be others involved.

Charged, not arrested. And although not charged with murder, not not charged with murder, if that makes any sense.
