When someone can kill 270 innocent people, get sentenced to a minimum of 27 years imprisonment,
get a visit in his cell from a justice secretary, get diagnosed as having 12 weeks to live by a GP not
specialising in Prostrate Cancer, get released after serving 8 years, flown home to a hero's welcome
and live a further 3 years in comfort I say "Thank God" I don't have to live under a Justice System like that.!!!!!!

Can someone (GordonA included) explain why in this case the police are not saying what she is charged with.

I cannot think of a logical reason for not doing so.

Surely Highlander, you can understand the justice system you live under ? If not, I suggest you ask Gordon to take you to one side to explain it for you. He's very calm and patient with people who don't understand HIS Caledonian way of doing things.   ;)

Think how I feel in the same room as him, it is a good job I either have the patience of a saint or I have fine tuned my selective hearing.

And then of course, we have the fantastic English Justice System, which failed to pursue a conviction, or trial even, against Mr. Earnest Saunders, a main player in the "Great Guinness Fraud", who is the only person, in the entire world mind you, to be diagnosed with Alzheimers, have ALL charges dropped because of this, then, lo and behold, make a complete recovery !! His blood must be worth more than gold dust !! Hurrah for English justice, .........if you are one of the elite clique !! Headache time.

Back to the child in question, it would appear the family were well known to social services while they were living  at the address the child was found at,  but following the move they "fell off the radar", so I suspect that again social services will have to give some kind of explanation.

So, now that she's been charged with murder, the newspapers are pixellating her face, and TV and radio aren't using her name! Weird, or what ?

The only question I can ask is WHY.  She had 5 children, 1 of the them the little boys twin.  She must have had some sort of breakdown.  All the friends and neighbours talk about the little boy being very loving towards his mum, so whatever caused her to kill him?  I know none of us can answer this question but it is something that causes me much distress :'(

So agree John, why were the people concerned not around to prevent this dreadful thing happening if the mother was considered a risk to her kids why were they left with her?
