Haven't seen him on CBF or Facebook in quite a while, is anyone still in contact with the lovely Tribalelder?

Yes - last post on my facebook page was 22.12.2013.

Only had the pleasure of meeting him and his lovely lady the once when they introduced themselves in Guvens a number of years ago now.

Lovely, unassuming couple

Last time I saw them we were sat in Cafe Pazar (having been forced in by the already seated Toky & Robin as we left the Sunday market) which would have been in May 2012. Brian was walking past and looked straight through me - so much so that after telling Toky who he was, I sort of conceded it couldn't have been him!

Then the wily old trickster turned and came in to say hello. I know they have moved back and moved on but would be great to hear from him again.

We are still alive and kicking!   :) Since moving back to the UK apart from the brief visit mentioned by Keith in 2012 we really switched off from all our very fond memories of Turkey as we did not want to dwell in the past.  However a couple of years have passed and on Friday last week we suddenly decided we would go back and booked a flight and hotel at the end of April  Looking forward to the taste of Efes again!

So I ask about you and two days later you book flights to Turkey? :D

Great to hear from you Brian, I hope you enjoy your visit. Please keep in touch on CBF a little more regularly  ;)

Thanks for all the Good Wishes we most certainly will enjoy our holiday but are a little unsure inside about the emotions of going back  to the place we loved so much when we lived there.  Nichola & Dogan if you can have a bucket list for a couple of weeks holiday you are at the top!!!! ;D.   Ian we are staying just round the corner from you at the Roka so hope you can pop in....arriving on 23rd April
