Hi,
I'm brand new to this site.  I've booked to come to Calis in July but now worrying whether the kids are going to be bored of a night as we're not staying in hotel just a villa?  Help please...

Hi Gill, welcome - what do they usually like to do in the evening, what sort of entertainment/activity are you thinking?

Vojo's have entertainment and quizzes on in the evenings, also the kids might enjoy the Yoruk Tents.  The Guitar Bar has live Turkish Music every night and tambourines on the tables to just in, you sit around a duck pond with real ducks.  Also take the kids over to Fethiye on the water taxi at 35 minute journey for 5 lira.  There is a new park at the marina with illuminated water fountains in the evenings and lots of the restaurants along the Marina have evening entertainment.
Take them to the Surf Cafe where they can try water sports, the last James Bond film "Skyfall" was filmed on the beach there.
Also, you could take them up to Hisaronu, it's quite noisy up there in the evenings, but there is a fun fair there.
Book a table at the Kings Garden up in the mountains at the back of Fethiye, reasonably priced, excellent food, fabulous views, free entry to the rock tombs and they will pick you up and take you back for free.  Look on this Forum where you can book a table.  Saturday nights are good as they usually have entertainment.
