Not just Akzo Ken - in the 10 years I have been out so many companies have been acquired and/or merged. Just 4 companies now own the vast majority of that industry worldwide. You're right, Akzo are big in offshore so I'm sure our paths will cross  :)

Good luck Keith in your new venture in life  :) I too like Linda promise to CBF more, I am also guilty of facebooking a lot but would be totally gutted to lose CBF, I kind of take it for granted I can log on here whenever I feel like it and it will be here waiting for me like an old friend for any advice I may need or a bit of banter some photos of our beautiful Calis.. I also like H have made a lot of friends on fb through people I have met thru CBF, in fact at a recent hospital appointment I said something to my consultant about "loving my cyber life" he thought that was quite funny I suppose from a man who works all hours in life and would not possibly spend his spare time idling away his free time on the WWW it probably did sound a little weird...
Don't be a stranger Keith as CBF wont be the same without you your great advice and best of all your wit, some of your posts have cracked me up in the past and what would life be like without laughter...
Long live CBF  ;)

Scunner, you can have no idea how much you have influenced our lives.  We have been members here for very many years, just reading, rarely contributing.  There are those we laugh at, those we laugh with, those who have been blocked, who we have just read and couldn't believe, as couldn't you, because you blocked them, those who are so up themselves, but we put up with.  Since we first visited this forum, we have bought our dream apartment, been smitten, one with breast cancer, the other with parkinson's, but still we visit every day.  We wish you all the very best.  God bless you and your family.  We have never met, but are sure that we saw you with your wife and twins walking along Calis sea front but we are very quiet and shy and wouldn't dream of interrupting your walk.  God bless you and your family and we wish you all the very best.   :)  :)

Thank you sadler folks, that was a truly wonderful read.

I have lost count of the number of times people have said on here (or via email) that they saw me with Steph or with the whole family and didn't want to disturb us or whatever. Please, disturb us - I love meeting CBFers!!! I've had 10 years of people walking up and asking "Are you Scunner?" or feeling that woman over there keeps looking over - please do introduce yourselves!

Also my kids think it is amazing - their dad does around 200 metres an hour down the main street or prom with people coming out or him darting in to say hi to someone he's spotted having lunch etc.

Not bad for a guy who, for the other 51 weeks of the year, lives an almost completely anonymous life :D

I love that life too  :)
