Free sun loungers on beach
« on: February 20, 2014, 23:30:58 PM »
Hello again!
I've been to Calis many times, and should probably know this, but which restaurants let you use their sun loungers for free if you eat there?

None on the main strip, they only give out their cushions to use on the sunbeds. Guvens, Beach Club, Surf cafe, etc along that end all do, and Sat at opposite end of prom too.

Correct, they were charging 5 lira for a bed in July last year, but when we were over again in Oct. they were free again. Can't moan at 5 lira for the day though.  ;)

Most if not all up Koca Calis are free and the beach up there is nice and quiet. Obviouly the two hotels have nicked a bit of beach and you can't use their beds unless you are a guest.

The restaurants along the main beach provide lounger pads on the assumption that they'll get your custom. The loungers and umbrellas were charged by the Belediye. I think they were about 15tl  :(

Guven's is at the end of the prom when you are walking with the sea on your left. Walk as far as where it bends to the right and go straingt on rather than follow the prom. It's about 150 yds in front of you.
