Does anyone know where I could buy some hand held scales for weighing suitcases, in either Calis or Fethiye. Thanks

The tool stalls on the market sell them.  They are mainly used for weighing fish by the Turks.

Hope you have better luck than me.

I'm currently on my 4th set of scales - I broke one set, one of the guys at security in Dalaman airport broke another set, left a set in the house in Turkey (for return journeys) and just bought this last set.

This last set is useless. You have to have a separate loop/belt thing to go round the suitcase handle (I just know it'll get lost) and then when you have weighed your suitcase it doesn't retain the weight on the display once you have put the suitcase down again.

Try holding up 25kg of knickers, shoes and other stuff and also trying to read the display at the same time. Weighing luggage should not have to involve a second party on their hands and knees with a torch ..... Stupid design.

You have 25kg of knickers? Wow.  :o

I'm currently using the old-fashioned method of weighing myself and then weighing myself with case in hand, but I think I might have broken our bathroom scales....  :-\
