Water taxis

Will there still be water taxis this year ? I have been told that they are no more

Hmmmm, let me think, I should imagine that, as running the "famous" water taxi service is, for most of the operators, their ONLY means of making a living, the water taxi service will be there for as long as people wish to use it.
I do wish these stupid "Calis Rumours" would bloody stop !!

Well, with all the new river/canal works currently in progress I doubt they would have bothered to put in a landing dock where the boat taxi's run from if there were not going to be any boat taxis.

Des, I should like very much to meet you, not a problem. As an ex-publican & licensee, I NEVER discuss politics in licensed premises, ( which is where we will probably bump into each other,    ) As for the one-liners, I have been taking lessons from a certain "Campbell Bey" !!

Thank you for your reply. I have not been to Fethiye  for a couple of years. Our friend told us about the changes being made. He said he didn't know what was happening to the water taxis. When he was there last it looked like they were being moved !!!  Unless you  are lucky enough to live in  Fethiye and know what is happening, you need to ask ! :-)  No Rumour spreading was intended
