Set out below are a few pictures taken mainly yesterday, Thursday, in sunny Calis.
The work on the canals continues at a pace, and is near to the point I would think of starting the re-instatement of the roads and footpaths.
This shot was taken looking towards the main canal in the direction of the Mafia Village. As you can see in many of these pics there looks like a requirement for some heavy dredging work if this is going to work as a scheme.
These shots show the work going on to get the water taxi area back. Note the steps, which lead onto the new quayside path which will be 'on top' of the lower wall if you see what I mean.

Hew what is happening to my favourite beach bar, The Sim Bar, and after all this work will they continue to play the good music?
There used to be four or five bars/cafes here, not clear what they are doing now?? Will it be one big unit or a number... not sure yet

The work on the Sunday Market road and pavements is going great guns. These pictures are taken from the Cafe Pazar crossroad looking up and down the Sunday Market Road.
The Tulips are out now in the flower beds around Fethiye, including the road carriageway islands. The Hyacinths are out as well, and as well as looking great as they do in this picture the smell is fantastic
I really do spoil those of you who need their Turkey, Fethiye or Calis Fix
