Bad Luck Calis
« on: March 09, 2014, 12:45:54 PM »
Feel quite sorry for you all over there in Calis with all that cold and rain (according to BBC). Not a cloud in the sky to seen from my terrace in Bristol. Now at 19C and going higher. Mind you, we're owed some after all the rain of the last three months.

Beautiful clear blue sky here in West Yorkshire too Colwyn!  8)  Not sure of the actual temperature but lovely and warm in the sun.

We've been very lucky in my part of the country over this winter - very little storm damage or flooding.  Been watching the new reports over this last week of people returning to their homes that were flooded at the beginning of December. Absolutely heartbreaking, complete devastation in some places.  Let's hope there's no more now!

Beautiful here in Cambridge too, been to garden centre, planted some shrubs, washing drying on the line.  Having a cup of tea sitting in the garden, browsing the web, and reading the Sunday papers!!  We too have been very lucky, although the fens are still flooded, nobody has had any flood damage in this area.  I understand the fine weather is around for a few more days.  Looked at the forecast for Calis and it looks pretty unsettled for next week.  Think I'll stay here till the end of May.   :)

Looks like we will need to wait till April when we get there for our dose of sunshine..  It has rained constantly here in Coatbridge, Scotland for weeks.      15 day forecast? .......Dull and miserable.  :(

Lovely day here in Essex , busy in garden like you Stuart, no footy watching but just enjoying a nice bottle of red wine.
