Price increases
« on: March 14, 2014, 10:15:16 AM »
With the exchange rate as it is at the moment has anybody living in or on holiday in Calis or the surrounding area noticed any price hikes to accommodate the present rates i.e. grocery shopping, meals out, dolmus etc.
Comparing the rates when we were out last September if I remember it was around 3.11-3.20 and I cant remember if there was much of a price rise then

I was out in August (3.00 - 3.1 lira to £1) and October (~3.20)

In September, the highest rate was 3.29

Trainer, to answer your question would mean asking the price of Efes and that is not allowed until April.
We all know that we use the price of Efes like the Americans use the price of a barrel of oil as a benchmark.  ;)

Most bars in the area of Fethiye have been selling draught Efes for a couple of years at least, very widely available.
