Never thought of that... I also use a token on a key ring, so they will be useless too.

They won't be too pleased to have to alter the current trolleys though! I hate them, the times I've left a pound coin in them or given my trolley to someone, just by forgetting! Also if I'm in a rush and have no coin I just zoom off elsewhere for my shopping. Mind you, on the other hand I love giving my parking ticket to other parkers as I'm leaving, there is always plenty of time left. I don't mind giving it away by choice.    ;)
I like the new coin.

Well with an estimated £30 million fake £1 coins in circulation it's defiantly time for a change...

I always have a pair off small pliers in my glove box.  My nails will not, sometimes, allow me to get the pound coin out.  M.&.S are the worst with Asda a close second.

I wouldn't think that anyone who owns slot machines of any kind will be happy either...

I'd never have expected you to admit to roughing-it in ASDA. Was Waitrose closed for refurbishing ?  ;)
