UK Energy Supply

I think there were quite a few us who switched to EDF Blue Fix to April 2014 a couple of years ago. This is now going to run out so I have been reviewing the alternatives. Although I've been very happy with the service and information I get from EDF I am now thinking of changing to nPower Price Fix March 2016 but haven't finally decided. The EDF 3 year fix is quite a lot extra to pay for an extra year.

I just yesterday started going through the maths, standing charges, Kwh, unit cost, actual consumtion, estimated consumption, discounts, paperless billing discounts,  companies with no standing charges versus companies with standing charges etc etc etc...  and to think the government promised to make choices more simple  :-\

Was also looking at this yesterday, so good to see other peoples views as we are from South Africa where there is no choice and just getting used shopping around for utilities, so interesting , thank you!
