Weather?
« on: March 25, 2014, 16:08:51 PM »
Hi all, we arrive on Sunday night having not visited Calis for a couple of years. Can you tell me how cold it is now please in order that we can pack appropriately. Is it toooo cold for flip flops/sandals? Thanks for taking the time to answer. X

It's generally quite mild. Around the 20C mark and on many days it is warmer. However, light jackets and cardigans are needed for evening still.

Threw it down today. We got caught in it at Olu Deniz. Not been that wet in rain for a long, long time  :-\

Thanks, I've been looking at the forecast but sometimes what it says and what it actually is are two different things. We're only bringing hand luggage so travelling light and have to pack sensibly.

Elsa - looks like the temperatures after Sunday will drop a couple of degrees - but still warm for this time of year.

Menthol - the rain here evaporated as soon as it hit the ground.

Thanks Jim, but do I need my jeans, woolie jumpers and coat? I plan to wear a raincoat and a sweater but don't want to bring loads of stuff. What about cropped trousers? I know you can't predict the weather but are you wearing shorts or jeans and coats?

three weeks for us, and I am deliberating on the same theme, I think shorts will be ok in the day, but I'm more down the line of sweatshirt and jeans in the evening rather than wafty summer frocks!

Elsa. I don't think its warm enough for shorts yet. I am still wearing jeans and tshirts with jumpers in the evenings and I normally live in shorts whenever I can.
