the Oykun Hotel has a bowling green; not sure if that's the one you're thinking of. You could have a look here http://www.oykunhotel.com/eng/default.asp

There are two bowling greens at least in Calis, one is lawn green/carpet bowls at the Oykun Hotel, there is however another one which is crown green bowling. I know the crown greeners had a competition last weekend I'll ask around about the Oykun one to see if there is a contact number I can get for you.

The other bowling green is at the Amber Pide which is opposite the Tugay Hotel.

If it's crown green they're looking for, please pm me their contact details & I'll forward to the competitions organiser, who is not a CBF member

The green which Jacqui mentioned is the crown green.  I've played a few times on this green and the members there are very welcoming, gladly letting you enter their friendly mixed competitions which can result in a very good afternoon's enjoyment for 10 TL.  They will also lend you a set of crown green bowls for the games. The members are mainly people who have moved from Britain and settled in the area. You can get refreshments from the Amber Pide next to the green.  I'm looking forward to joining them again during my visit to the Tugay in June.

For flat green bowling the Oykun hotel has sets of bowls for hire....it was 15 TL for 90 minutes last year....again, an enjoyable way to spend a morning or afternoon in good company.  Have a good time!

I don't know much about bowling but when we stayed at the Oykun in October the bowling green looked abandoned - we certainly never saw anyone use it.
