Snake in the pool
« on: April 05, 2014, 12:14:04 PM »
My husband wants to know how long a snake can live underwater! He spotted one in our pool yesterday afternoon and trapped it under a net under water. It was still alive this morning!!!

Do you seriously have to kill it? Get it netted and fling it over the fence...

Yes I'll tell him that. Hopefully the thing will be too traumatised by it's experience to want to come back!!

I'm sure your neighbours will love you for it.

Get it out of the pool and let it loose somewhere away from houses.

The snake has been disposed of by our maintenance man! We have fields at the back of us which is probably where it came from in the first place so I presume it has been returned there -or otherwise disposed of!!

I'd say it was common - I've seen snakes in pools there quite often
