My wife was up like a shot, dressed within 20 seconds and outside with water, tablets and evacuation bag. It's now 10-30 and she is still yet to come back inside!!
Mind you having been here for the "big one" the year before last, I don't really blame her!

Oh no!  I was there for the big one, and am still traumatised.  I find it difficult to go into buildings where the floor shakes, especially the mezzy floors in The Range.  Due out there in a week and a half, wish I hadn't read that now!  :( :( :(

Am so glad it was only a small one today, also to read I was not the only one who was traumatised by the one two years ago Sadler, I was really ashamed of myself as I was hysterical practically, the good thing is time has helped me forget though if I am really honest I have never felt quite the same about Turkey since that happened....

Karennini, I am totally traumatised still.  I was dozing on the bed with headphones in when the "big" one happened.  To this day, I still jump at the guns going off at Shewburyness (something I have heard all my life) as the air moves!  I had to change my bedroom around in Turkey so that the bed was in a different position, and I still will not allow myself to fall asleep in the afternoon with earphones in, especially on a Sunday in Turkey!   :-[ :o :o :o

Felt the one this morning, we were just about to get up when the bed moved (only slightly) and the wardrobe doors rattled. Our neighbours said they hadn't felt a thing.

When we had the "big" one a couple of years ago we were on the balcony and everything shook for several seconds. You couldn't miss that one.

I just take the view if it's gonna happen there's not much you can do about it so why run around like a headless chicken.
