OUCH   but sadly so true of the state of the beaches . If I owned a restaurant I would make sure the bit in front of mine was at least a bit cleaner than it is now but knowing some of them they would just toss it over their neighbours side .

Would it not be a great idea to find out which is the mankiest, clartiest, (Scottish moment ), section of beach to the front of a restaurant, take a large party , ( 12 or more ), of prospective customers there, make a show of perusing the menu board, then, just before taking the proffered seats, point out the state of the beach to each other, get up, and walk off !! ??   >:( >:(
I bet that particular stretch of beach would be nicer next day !!  8)

In fairness to the Fethiye Times, they do not say that the ten beaches with the awards includes Calis Beach.  Although I would not mind seeing the full list of ten, because my experience is that if they could get two beaches in this area to that standard I would be very surprised. :(
