Wlak to the part of the prom to where it starts to bend to the right - with the sea on your left as you walk. Right on the bend you will see a small path in front of you. Walk down here and past the small bars/restaurants (Guvens might stand out and is worth a visit). Keep walking and you will come to the area that is classed as 'The Twighlight Zone' by Loz. This is actually the start of Koca Calis according to many and the Surf cafe is about a 10 min walk from here. If you go beyond it there are other bars that have beach areas as well. Well worth a wander.

Enjoy.

thanks Loz, do you know if its possible to walk to Koca from the Kaan hotel?

If you can't be bothered to walk that far, just around the corner from the Kaan Hotel is Ali's bike shop, where you could hire the 3Cs bike for 10tl a day each. You'd then be able to get to all the beaches Surf Cafe & beyond.

Bikes are a good idea - it's a fair walk in the heat. A bike is much easier and remarkably cooler as well.

If you want go to the surf cafe and beach and you're not sure where it is, the dolmus will take you right to it's doorstep, just say you want to go to the Surf cafe, and there is a timetable for your return journey, about every half hour.
