Hello can someone tell me whether the supermarkets in Calis stock fresh milk?
Thanks

Yes, it has a picture of a cow on the front, but beware, it goes off very quickly.  We always buy the UHT milk and to tell the truth, it tastes the same to us in tea and coffee.

Look for "taze gunluk sut" on the label. It's stocked in the big supermarkets

Wasn't always that way though. When we lived there from 2004 it was nearly impossible to find. I remember meeting a Turkish girl of around 21 years of age, modern, trendy, very westernised who have only ever known UHT milk her entire life :o

If they've got semi-skimmed in plastic containers (red top) buy a couple extra, pour a small amount off to allow for expansion, and you can freeze it for upto 3 months.

Kipa Calis usually has fresh milk.  Glass bottles with blue top in fridges.  Lasts a few days too, just like the UK
