Break in by Huzer Evi
« on: May 20, 2014, 14:31:43 PM »
We were broken into on Saturday evening.
Safes ripped off the walls! All money and jewellery gone.
Dumped passports in the garden (thank God)
Didn't touch anything else. Would not have known if we hadn't  gone to take something out of the safe!
Scary..... Padlocks and bolts taken off iron gates!
When they had left they closed the curtains, gates and door behind themselves!
So had enough!!!!

So sorry to hear this and I can imagine how sick you must feel. Sounds like a very professional job so it is a warning to us all.

I am also sorry to hear this, second one on the Forum today.  I hope you might see some of your jewellery again. if you have photographs give them to the Police and let the local jeweller shops have copies. Thieves always have to sell on jewellery.
Probably worth thinking about an alarm and a big floor safe now.
Good luck, let us know what happens.

It's that time of year again! These burglaries seem to happen more during the summer months. I think they target people, follow them home and then wait for an opportunity to break in. It looks like they took their time over this.

It's sickening and my thoughts are with you. As Jacqui asked - did the alarm go off?
