£226.70 Forwarded for Soma Mine Fund from CBF Members

Although CBF members had already been contributing for a few days, I decided it might be a good idea to offer the CBF Paypal option for those who are familiar with using it.

Over and above the AA payments we managed to raise a significant £226.70 (a strange number as some donations came in euros and have been converted to pounds) which will do so much in itself and adds to an amazing total and effort, spearheaded by Vojos in Calis and Kismet in Fethiye (and the other bars in Hisaronu etc who all nailed their colours to the mast).

Our very own Karaokemark will pass the money from you guys, via CBF, to Vojos to add to their great total.

Mark has just dropped the money off to us, and kindly rounded it up to £230 which at todays rate is 812tl!!

A massive thank you to Scunner and everyone on CBF that has donated, we have now raised just over 5000tl  

Our donation box is still out the front of our restaurant to see if we can get the final amount topped up, and we will be sending the money next week.

We have decided to do it electronically so then we can get a receipt and the transaction statement, so that we can post it on all the sites so we can all see that it has got there!

All of us should feel so proud that we have all gotten together to show our support and love for this terrible disaster. Without your kind donations of money, food, raffle and auction prizes, none of this would have been possible.

A huge thank you to Animal Aid for raising 660tl at their raffle from their table top on Saturday.

The total now stands at 5745tl and the donation box has not been counted for a couple of days!
