Roka Restaurant owner not paying his way?
« on: May 27, 2014, 20:51:09 PM »
I have just read this little posting on Expat Fethiye.  Same old story of an owner of an apartment or 2 in this case not paying their way.

Quote
Some of you will know that owners of apartments built by Manzara have had some serious problems with Habitation Permits etc. I have an apartment in the Mirage complex and we have managed to pay our way out of the problems by everybody putting the necessary in the kitty. That is, NEARLY everybody. One of the owners with no less than 2 apartments have refused to pay despite all attempts. He is quite happy to take the benefits from the now issued Habitation Permit, but will not contribute. That is OK, it is a free country BUT as he happens to be the owner of the Roka Restaurant (other side the road from the Sunday Market) I have decided to use my freedom to BOYCOTT ROKA an activity in which my fellow residents will also participate. But there is always room for more, so please help us by not frequenting Roka and please let anyone who asks you know why. I thank you for your cooperation.

I am totally in agreement but is he actually running the restaurant or renting it out as they normally do .IF he is renting it to someone then this would be very harsh on the people who are trying to earn a living. I really don't know what the situation is so hopefully someone could possibly find out. If he is running it himself will definitely join the boycott.

God point hubbles! Might be worth checking he actually runs the place before ruining someone elses business.

Agree that is a very good point, maybe someone will know the answer.
