Gel or Acrylic Nails
« on: May 31, 2014, 18:20:36 PM »
Apart from Booty in Hisaronu, is there anywhere else closer to Calis who do gel or acrylic nails.  I would be grateful for any help.  Thank you.

I stopped the acrylic it ruins your nails.  I get bio gel nails and it does no harm to your natural nails, they start to grow under the gel and they are really good.

Thanks Jacqui, I have tried to find somewhere in Glasgow that does bio nails but had no luck. I've just had gel nails done and they are a complete disaster so I need to find somewhere near Calis to sort things out for me.  Where do you have the bio nails done and how much do they cost (if you don't mind me asking). The best gel nails I had done were done in Kusadasi last September, they were amazing but as you say, gel & acrylic destroy your own nails.  :-((

Had mine done with gel nail polish about two years ago - yes they looked lovely for a month but would never have them done again.  Personally I think it ruins your natural nails and it took almost a year for mine to get back to normal.  Previously I had naturally strong and long nails.

To answer your question, Kanguru in Fethiye do gel nails, don't know if they are bio gel though.  Jackie is English and a trained Chiropodist, give her a ring on 02526144542.

The shop is behind Macdonalds going up the side of the river to the Tuesday Market.

Gold Finger in Ovacik do Brise Nails which are similar to the ones I have.  I am going to give them a try, so will report back.

If Booty is the shop just past the mosque in Hisaronu, their work is absolute sh1te !! They ruined Lorraines nails AND tried to charge more than the guy on the street outside said was the price !! I don't know a lot about nail polishes etc. but, I would imagine ANY so called " nail technician " who takes a frickin'  big file to a lady's nails, in order to remove nail polish is a total numpty  !!
