Formal Dress Shirt
« on: June 19, 2014, 20:56:56 PM »
Is there anywhere in Fethiye that we can buy or hire a formal dress shirt and tie or dickie bow, or would it be better for us to buy one here and bring with us.  Thanks for your help.

The Turkish dress shirts are very fancy as that is they way they prefer them.  Buy one in the U.K. before you leave. As, at this time of year there are not too many shops selling Formal Wear, so not as much choice. I would recommend this website.  They have some good bargains and we have used them in the past.

JohnF - that made me laugh!  Yes, some of their formal wear is VERY different to what we would wear over here (specially the wedding dresses - layers and layers of frills and flouncy material!   :) )

Thanks for the website Jacqui - there are some real bargains on there.  I think I'll order one and bring it with us.   :)

Thanks for all your replies.  I've just got to find a bit more space in our ever growing suitcase!   :)

Try Karca by the Dolums station behind the mosque.

I took in an old and falling to pieces Jacobite shirt to our little taylors.

Got two made in cotton, one black and one white. Exelent work and at 10 quid a piece well worth it.
They can more or less copy anything.
