In Calis/Fethiye the ONE thing you MUST do is...

We did this a few years back I know, but new members found it extremely useful, and I thought worth doing again as we have quite a number of new visitors heading over this year....


The ONE thing you MUST do is combine education and food - visit the Rock Tombs, and King's Garden for dinner...

Anyone who repeats one already said, or do more than ONE has to give a tenner to the local charity of their choice

Hmmm, well i'm not sure this counts as 'education' however, An ABSOLUTE must do for me is to sit on the beach front either drinking a coffee or long cool drink just taking in the spectacular view, from the sea crashing onto the shore, the islands in the ocean breaking up an otherwise empty view of sea (as you get in most seasides throughout the world) to the stunningly beautiful mountains surrounding the not overly high built up towns surrounding me. This is what makes Calis to me somewhere I love to come back to & somewhere that has never quite been beaten anywhere else in the world..... Food, to die for is a starter at the Yatch Boutique hotel in Fethiye, a prawn starter with a sauce that is out of this world, along with a fabulkous service & again great views over the harbour

Trip across to Fethiye on the water taxi.  Never get tired of the views, the herons, and the people you meet as you go slowly across the water.
