Yep I'll second that on what a great night it was.  Singalong with Rod with all his best hits.  We got there half hour before the start but couldn't get into Lees Bar, which was rammed!!  So we ended up in next door's bar, but still a good night.

We went on a cruise about 11-12 years ago and saw a guy that was a dead ringer for Rod Stewart, so no surprise when one night he was singing in one of the bars.  He looked and sounded just like Stewart and even called himself Rod.  I wonder is this the same guy?

What a fantastic night, and great to put faces to names. Sat next to tonyb and his wife and her sister. Hope you got the hamper home safely bytheway, nice to meet you, we have a lot in common. Was also great to meet Rimms and his lovely wife, and find out we are very near neighbours. All in all a Top Night and lots of money raised I am sure with the place packed to the rafters. I will post a short video of the event later   ;)

Sounds like another brilliant evening! Things seem to be looking up in Calis now. Nice to get some cheerful threads on CBF. Keep it up.   :)

It was a brilliant night at Lee's Bar and Rod was brilliant! It was harder getting Rimm's autograph than Rod's. They were queing up to meet him and Chris!  ;D

It was a brilliant night and a huge thanks to "Rod" and Lee. There were lots of notes in our collecting bucket at the end of the night and this will be counted doen at FETAV office early next week.and we will let Lee have a copy of the receipt for the money banked. In addition the raffle also made 390 TL. All of this on top of the 1400tl raised 2 weeks ago at the first night Rod did a charity gig for us. Thank you.

Great night, great company with Chris35 & lovely better half Dana, the Efes was certainly flowing. Lee's was packed to the rafters, Stuart(aka Rod Stewart) was on great form. He is such an unassuming bloke when you meet him in the Lees, after he's had a day on the beach with his missus Linda, but is a totally different character when he slips in RS mode, brilliant. By the way Chris, I got some very strange looks staggering along the prom with that hamper on my shoulder. It was really nice of you to check our raffle tickets while the girls were dancing & I was in the little boys room. We managed to eat some of the goodies, but when you're staying in a hotel & not an apartment, food storage becomes a bit of a problem. Our cleaner copped for everything that was left, so none of the hamper went to waste. A great night had by all. How much was raised in the end?

The raffle and the donations in the collecting bucket totalled just over 1100tl.  Add this to the 1400tl raised at a similar night two weeks before, it was a great result for the children. "Rod" and Lee and everone who supported the 3C's did us proud. Thank you all very much.
We have given Lee copies of the receipts for the money banked from the collecting buckets and these are on display at Cinar   :)
