Have just heard from Mete today that the Calis Dernik (the Association of  Calis businesses for the improvement of Calis) have been awarded the contract for responsibility for the beach, so it is Calis people looking after Calis's own beach - great news!.  The member of the Association who is going to be responsible for everything to do with the beach is Mehmet Ulusoy, the owner of the old Orient Express restaurant.

Thats fab news and well done to all involved in making this happen.  We can now rest assured the interest of the beach will be in safe hands.  Mete works hard for Calis and we have seen many improvements over the years.
