My passport is a bit old, (Dark Blue withQueen Victoria embossed on the pages), is that alright?

Yeah, there is a special one for you - only prob is you need to copy it out yourself onto a bit of vellum using a fountain pen.  That'll be 240 groats please my good man...

Thanks for all your replies, they didn't ask for copy of E Visa but by chance I had took a screenshot of it, I asked at the airport would that be ok to use if asked, they said yes, so alls well and I'm just eating my brekkie listening to the waves and trying to psych myself up for a HOT HOT day (Rosary Beach)  :)

I did some E Visas last night and put the wrong middle name in for 1 of our party.
Do I do another new visa? Can I do another whilst I still have a valid one?
I looked on the website and could not see who to contact for answers.

I think you have to do another one and pay again.

If the computers are working then fine. If not.......

A bit late I know but you could try downloading it again through your smartphone. They should have sent you an email. You could then show that at the desk if needed.

If the information on the eVisa is different to your travel documents then you *don't* have a valid visa, so no issue with simply doing another.

See their FAQ.

New regulations announced by Turkish Gov't from 1st Jan 2015 all UK passport holders must have at least 60 days validity on their passports after the completion date of entry visa.
No 60 days no entry!
Even if you have a valid E visa

Just back from Calis and had an interesting experience at Dalaman coming in. The travelagency cancelled our flight to Turkey and offered a flight two days earlier. It never crossed my mind to change the date on my visa. At the passportcounter the grumpy old man looked at the passport, zipped it through a machine, looked at it again and wanted to see the printed visa. Then he pointed out my visa was not yet valid... and stamped the passport. Upon leaving at Dalaman Disco also no problem.

I don't get this. So basically its a 4 month visa then.   We come in twice on the one visa for a total of two months. Four wks May, four wks Sept, now then it looks like we shall need to renew the visa after our first visit.    Can that even be done?  Confusing......... If this is the case, why don't they just put up a sign.   PRIVATE.  KEEP OUT!

What they are saying is that your passport must not expire within 60 days of the expiry of the visa. You can still come out in September on the existing visa.
